Alicia always wanted to make a delicious, healthy & versatile food product for as far back as we can remember. Actually, the idea came after we were invited to a cookout and asked to bring something. So, we made a batch of slow cooked onions that we thought would compliment everything being served. It was a HUGE HIT!! 

Years later, when we lost our jobs and our son was born 13 weeks early, weighing 1 pound 14 ounces, Alicia decided that we needed a life change, to stop giving people we worked for their dreams and to follow our own. So she created our company, Aha-American Healthy Appetite and Screamin' Onionz began. 

Our son Adrian's 90 day hospital stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit made Alicia realize that this was the most difficult time our family had ever gone through together and decided that one day we would like to support those who feel like there's no hope. 

We appreciate all the support from y'all in helping our company grow. Alicia & Richard Romano
